Wash Delicates In A Salad Spinner


The humble salad spinner is great for washing leaves of lettuce without bruising them. According to Busty Girl Comics, a blog that chronicles the issues that come with being large-chested, it’s also a great tool for cleaning bras.

Bras aren’t cheap, so it makes sense to take care of them. Apparently, all you need is a gentle detergent, like lingerie soap or baby shampoo, some warm water, and a salad spinner dedicated to the task.

Judging by the reaction at Tumblr, it works like a charm, and other hand-wash delicates clean up nicely in a salad spinner as well. Sure, you can use fabric bags to protect your delicates in the washing machine, but we can appreciate the ingenuity of this tip.
