Repurpose A Pot Holder Into A Flat Iron Case

If you have long hair and use a flat iron travelling can be a pain as you don’t want to pack away a hot flat iron and melt plastics in your bag. If you have access to a sewing machine you can easily turn a pot holder into a case into which you can insert your hot flat iron safely.

Crafting weblog Your Creative Juices shares this tip for making a thermal case for your flat iron. All you need to do is sew the sides together and then sew the bottom shut. If you don’t have a sewing machine you can get the same effect with rubber bands wrapped around the pot holder.
