QuickFlix To Be Added To D-Link Devices

Streaming movie provider Quickflix continues to expand the range of devices you can access its service on. Quickflix today announced a partnership with D-Link to add Quickflix Now viewing capabilities to D-Link media streaming devices.

An exact release date and device list hasn't been made public, but it will include the MovieNitePlus HDMI dongle. The Quickflix Now streaming service already runs on PCs, Macs, iOS devices, PS3 consoles, and Sony, Panasonic and Samsung TVs, and is coming to the Xbox 360 and Kogan's TV dongle.

Will that include the Boxee Box? thats made by D-Link

Hope they will push for an app for the Boxee Box (made by Dlink)

oops - missed Si's earlier comment!

Good luck with that! Boxee seem more focused on Cloudee now http://www.engadget.com/2012/09/26/public-cloudee-beta-launches/?a_dgi=aolshare_twitter
In addition their latest offerings such as the Live TV Dongle and their Early Access program are US only.

Yet it's still not available on android phones, apart from Samsungs.

Why is this company so obsessed with brand-specific device deals? It's a bit unaustralian IMO.

When will Quickflix release a Raspberry Pi version?

Honestly, I used a free trial for Quickflix Streaming and it was near unwatchable. Buffering times are one of the worst things about the net.

Call me when we get a Netflix-esque service. Quickflix just sucks.
