Google Maps Now Syncs Search And Directions History Across Devices

Google Maps now syncs the directions and locations you’ve previously searched for between your desktop and Google Maps for Android. This should make it much easier to quickly get directions when you’re on the go.

You will need to have web history enabled for your Google account. Then, under the “search” or “Directions” tab in My Places, you can just tap on the places you’ve searched for in the past.

As with previous versions of Google Maps for Android, you can set “home” and “work” locations to save time, letting you just type those labels into the search field. Also, with the desktop and mobile syncing, you can access one map with all your favourite places on all your devices.
