Bring Flowers Into The Office To Increase Productivity And Reduce Anxiety

Flowers can make us feel good, but they can also help reduce anxiety at work. Greatist did some research and the results show that placing flowers near your workspace can make you calmer, more productive and more creative.

If you've ever had flowers on your desk at work, you probably know this already. At my last job, I had a blooming plant near my desk (but not so close that it bothered my allergies), and it definitely helped improve the mood in our pod. Greatist notes that just looking at flowers can help your mood. Check out the link below for more supporting studies that could have you stopping by the florist on the way home.

Used to have at least 3 plants in my cubicle at work, nothing like a bit of foliage in the workplace.

I grew parsley at my desk once, but I ate too much of it, and it died. I don't really like to talk about it.
