Astrid To-Do App Adds Gestures And iPad-Optimised Version

iOS: Astrid, one of our favourite to-do managers, now has an iPad-optimised version and added on-screen gestures. This means you can swipe right on a task to postpone it or swipe left to delete it.

The iPad version of Astrid has been a long time coming, but multitouch gestures for task editing and management are a welcome addition. In addition to the gestures we just mentioned, shaking your device returns to the home screen, and on the task edit menu, a swipe left on the “Who” picker will make a to-do unassigned, while a swipe right on the same picker will assign the to-do to yourself.

Additionally, premium users can now upload and attach files from their iOS devices and record their voices. The new version is free and available now in the iTunes App Store.
