Duct tape is one of the most useful DIY tools on the planet, but it isn't the most portable item. Redditor fkinglag shares a clever way to keep a bit of duct tape with you at all times: wrapped around an old gift card.
You've probably seen people walking around with duct tape around their water bottles, and it isn't because their water bottles are broken -- that's an old trick for keeping a few feet of duct tape nearby. Redditor Saphiric notes that there's a similar trick which doesn't require a bottle:
Wrap a few feet of duct tape around an old credit card and put it in your wallet. You'll always have some if you need it.
It might add a bit more thickness to your wallet, but it will come in handy if you need to improve your posture or remove a stuck light bulb. Check out our celebration of duct tape for more clever uses, and hit the link to read more about the gift card trick on Reddit.
