Turn A Dresser Into A Laptop-Hiding Desk

No room for a desk but happen to own a dresser? Problem solved! This DIY drop-down desk is perfect for small spaces, especially if you want somewhere to hide your laptop away and out of sight.

Paige at Lucky Me Studios showcases this old (circa 1942) piece of furniture. It had the false drawer drop-down front and hole in the back already built in — a sign that students have been hacking their way to better workspaces for ages.

You can easily adapt this project for your own needs. Or, if you already have a spot for your laptop or bigger PC, this type of dresser hack can also hide printers and other peripherals.
