If you’ve ever been on a long road trip, you know that you see some crazy things when driving through the country. When you’re driving, you can’t just grab a camera and take a picture. Thankfully, Hack a Day has put together a guide for mounting cameras to your car so you can take pictures with a single click without fumbling over the camera itself.
The hack uses two cheap digital cameras, some light soldering and a couple of switches. The end result is a small box inside the car that can trigger pictures of anything happening on the left or right of the road. It’s pretty simple to put together yourself, and when you’re done you’ll have a system where you’ll never miss a crazy car driving next to you, a weird sign on the side of the road, or wildlife behaving weirdly.
