Use Floaties To Safely Transport Wine

Enjoy bringing back a bottle or two of wine from your travels but worried about them getting damaged in transit? One inexpensive way to protect them is to use a pair of floaties (you know, the inflatable arm bands kids use when they learn to swim). Floaties weigh virtually nothing, take up little space until you use them, and will help protect your libations from rough baggage handlers.

As well as being a potential source of protection, Real Simple points out you can also use the floaties as a travel pillow if you don’t end up transporting a few bottles of red. I’d still be taking them in carry-on luggage for domestic flights, but the extra cushioning is a wise idea.
