Nature isn’t necessarily your computer’s best friend, but that doesn’t mean you can’t work outside. Filmmaker Max Collins decided he was tired of being stuck inside, so he took his desk and moved it into the backyard.

Your environment affects your productivity, so it can be good to change things up now and again. Moving your desk, computer and peripherals back behind the house or onto the front lawn may not be possible for everyone, but if you’ve got a laptop and a small desk, you can set up shop just about anywhere. Perhaps that much is obvious, but it’s easy to get stuck working at the same desk with the same surroundings day after day.
