Stop Google+ From Adding Events to Your Calendar

@Veronica figures out how to stop Google+ event spam:

How to tell Google Calendar to ignore Google Plus Event invitations: Go to Calendar Settings > Automatically Add Invitations to My Calendar. Choose No.

This changes it so only events you respond to — accept or reject — will be added to your Google Calendar.

Add Any Podcast to Apple’s Podcast App

Mark discovers a way to add non-iTunes podcasts to Apple’s Podcasts app:

When Apple’s Podcasts app first came out, I was annoyed because it looked like you could only subscribe to podcasts that were in the iTunes store. However, my friend showed me how to add other feeds: just drag the main window up and paste their link in the search bar. Then just press Search, and it’ll add them for you!

Reposition Off-Centre Photos on Your Facebook Timeline

Jupiterthunder shares a lesser-known feature in Facebook’s timeline view:

A new (to me) option is available on the Facebook Timeline when posting pictures. I’ve seen a lot of complaints about how pictures are displayed with rather random framing in the Timeline. If you click on the “Edit or Remove” (pencil) dropdown, you’ll be presented with with an option to reposition your photo.

Fix a Loose ASUS Transformer Keydock

Rebeloyster drops some DIY knowledge for Transformer Prime users:

My brand new Asus Transformer Prime’s (TF201) keydock coming apart drove me nuts. I thought I had to send it in… But then somebody told me to remove the rubber feet and tighten the screws beneath them. I now have a not-coming-apart keydock.
