iOS: Most note-taking apps are all about syncing with one specific service. This is fine for most people, but if you’re looking for customisation on a note-by-note basis, Drafts is an app that lets you quickly jot down an idea and send it to a number of different services. When you open Drafts, it immediately takes you to a new note page every time. Once you type in your idea, you can leave it sitting in Drafts or export it out to Facebook, email, events, Dropbox, Simplenote, Evernote, OmniFocus and lots of other services. You can customise and organise which services appear in your menu so you can cut down on clutter.
It seems simple, but after using it for a few days, it’s a great way to quickly stash a note and send it off to another service later. It’s not exactly meant as a replacement for your favourite notes app, but it works as an extension to it where you can get ideas down quickly. Drafts is a 99 cent download in the iTunes App Store.
