DIY Mason Jar Soap Dispenser

Mason jars provide an inexpensive way to evoke country charm for decorating around the house, making them popular for DIY projects. This hack turns your plastic soap dispenser pump into a mason jar with the help of simple tools.

Lifestyle blogger Heather Bullard recommends cutting your plastic soap dispenser just below the threading where the pump screws onto the body. Then drill or cut a hole in the mason jar lid large enough for the pump — but not the threaded attachment from the plastic bottle — to fit through. Permanently connect the two with two-part epoxy resin, let it dry, and then fill the jar with your soap of choice.
