If you want to add candles to a cake without making holes in the frosting or getting wax on the cake you can use regular Life Savers as candle holders as per a tip from Real Simple magazine’s weblog.
Make sure you get the regular roll of LifeSavers, not the big bags as those are slightly larger and won’t fit your birthday cake candles as well.
