Unsocialize Lets You Open Social Reader Links Without Facebook Crapware

Chrome/Firefox: When friends on Facebook share a link that makes you go through an app, it means you need to install Social Reader and share what you just read. Unsocialize is a Firefox and Chrome extension that adds a right-click menu to read those articles without sharing or installing anything.

Usually, when you click a Social Reader link, you’re taken to an install page instead of directly to the link. You can often just click “cancel” and read the article without anyone knowing but Unsocialize guarantees you won’t accidentally share anything. With the extension installed, all you need to do is right-click the link and select Unsocialize and you’ll and you’ll be taken directly to the shared article. If you hate getting redirected or installing apps just to read a link, then Unsocialize is a handy extension to have.
