Test Your Personal Productivity Quotient

The Personal Productivity Quotient (GTD-Q) is a measurement developed by David Allen’s company for evaluating two elements of self-management: control and perspective. This two-minute quiz is meant to be a fun way to see how your personal productivity level is today.

Answering the questions, you’ll probably already know where you stand. For example, “My life is too chaotic” is a dead giveaway, as is “I have a good way to track all of my things to do”.

However, all of the answers together will put you into one of four quadrants according to the GTD system as developed by David Allen. The quadrants run along two axes: control and perspective. (You can read more about the quadrants in this PDF. There are strengths and challenges to each.)

When you get your results, you may find some insights for improving your productivity — or at least confirmation about what usually challenges you. The quiz definitely sells the GTD system, but you don’t have to buy or sign up for anything to see if you’re a Visionary/Crazy Maker, Captain and Commander/Autocrat, Responder/Victim or Implementer/Micro Manager — just for fun.
