Plex For iOS Adds Social Features

iOS: Streaming media app Plex has received an update that adds a bunch of new features as well as fixing some annoying bugs. Headlining the release is the inclusion of social features which allow you to add friends to your account, share media you’ve enjoyed, and post onto Facebook.

On top of that, you can now delete media directly from your mobile device, clear cached images, launch the app with a plexapp:// url, and more. A variety of bug fixes came with this release, including the restoration of automatic video quality adjustment when streaming.

You can download the latest version of Plex ($5.49) on the iTunes App Store. If you’ve already got it, you just need to update. For more information on additional features and fixes in this release, check out the full post over at Plex.
