How To Mark All Emails As Read On Your iPhone

Do you find it annoying to have to individually mark every email on your iPhone as read? Redditor nmpraveen discovered a glitchy trick that can tackle them all in one fell swoop.

As demonstrated in the video above, the trick is pretty simple and consists of the following steps:

  1. Open up the Mail app and tap the Edit button.
  2. Select one message.
  3. Press and hold the Mark button at the bottom of the screen.
  4. While still pressing and holding the Mark button, tap the email you previously selected to unmark it.
  5. Release the Mark button.
  6. Tap the Mark as Read button.

Doing this confuses Mail because no messages are selected. It apparently interprets nothing as everything, so it’ll mark all your messages as read without the tedious task of selecting each one individually.
