If you need to download a file, web page or other URL to your hard drive quickly, you can actually do so in Firefox with a quick and simple keystroke.

Perhaps you want to download a full web page, or maybe you just want to download that video that Firefox keeps opening with a plugin rather than downloading it to your hard drive. Whatever it is, you can download it quickly by pasting its URL right into Firefox’s Download window. It isn’t the only way to download things (you could always right-click on the link and choose “Save Link As”, but it’s just another quick way to do so without any dialogs popping up or anything like that.
