The Built-In Workspace Made From IKEA Odds And Ends

Some of our favourite workspaces are those that make the best use of awkward spaces. Today’s featured workspace is constructed out of IKEA bookshelves and parts from the “as-is” section of the store, yet it looks professionally built into this attic with a gable roof.

IKEA Hackers Torrey and Jim mounted two Billy bookcases on either side of the window, then added white boards above them, matching the spacing of the bookshelves. They cut an old IKEA desk to fit the space as well and added white moulding for a clean and finished look.
