If you’ve ever been afraid of painting your walls black, this home office belonging to interior designer Adam Strauss might change your mind. Rather than making the space feel like a camped cave, the monochrome colour scheme actually makes the workspace feel even bigger.

The natural lighting from the window and gorgeous French chandelier also brighten the room. The floor is a glossy black lacquer that reflects the light. With the rich, dark colours and inclusion of whimsical artefacts, this workspace definitely has a lot of character.
