Use Plastic Easter Eggs As Containers

If you have kids, odds are that you have lots of plastic Easter egg containers strewn about your home. Instead of storing them until next year or (gasp) throwing them away use them as snack containers for kids or adults.

Real Simple magazine suggests using the eggs to hold small chips or biscuits, but they would also work well for adults to portion nuts, chunks of cheese and strangely enough make perfect containers for hard-boiled eggs.

Even if you don’t have kids I bet you can score a pack of reusable plastic eggs this week much cheaper than an equivalent amount of disposable snack bags.
