Quasar Runs Apps In Windowed Mode On iPad

iPad (Jailbroken): Not being able to open a bunch of different apps in multiple windows has been a gripe for many iPad users since it first launched. A new jailbreak tweak called Quasar solves that problem and lets you open as many apps as you like in smaller windows for real multitasking.

Quasar does exactly what you’d expect. Open an app in a window, and you can rotate apps, resize windows or put apps into full-screen mode. Quasar doesn’t have a lot of other options at the moment, but the windowed management works just as described. As you’d expect, the windowed mode makes it a bit difficult to read the text in some apps, but it’s still a handy tweak if you’ve been wanting multitasking on the iPad. You can find Quasar in the Big Boss Repository for $US9.99.
