Make Your Own Desk Tray From Cardboard Boxes

Desk trays are one of those ubiquitous organisation tools that find their way onto all types of desks. If you’d like something other than the standard plastic or mesh trays, Instructables user Makedo-able shows off a way to make your own surprisingly classy tray from cardboard and some Makedo clips.

The process itself is all about folding and cutting the trays in a way that makes it easy to expand and upsize to as many stacks as you need. It’s a pretty easy guide to follow and provided you have enough cardboard you can make the tray as tall as you like. Once complete you can also use it as a handy laptop stand. Hit up Instructables for a full guide and template to make your own.
