Peter OrtnerWhether you should switch depends on where you are – there are folks in some areas bitching about NextG. Having said that, what Dan Warne wrote about Optus’ 3G notwork in 2008 is still valid now, nearly three years later.
Telstra do have a 2100MHz 3G network for at least the next few months which should work with your current device, and it won’t cost much to find out. Patches of 2100MHz coverage will continue beyond the shutdown date of that network.

Sydney2KI know there isn’t any stock in Canberra- I went personally to the Tuggeranong shop and called the Belconnen shop. They’re expecting a shipment in but they haveno idea when it’ll arrive 🙁
