Skitch For Android Adds Maps Annotation, SD Card Saving And More

Android: Photo-taking and annotation app Skitch has added a new feature that lets you annotate maps and send them to your friends — perfect for giving directions or pointing out specific locations with a picture message.

To use the new feature, just tap the map icon on Skitch’s main screen, and you’ll be taken to a map. You can then drop pins by tapping, or draw on the map by tapping the Skitch button. It’s the first really cool feature we’ve seen in Skitch for Android, so this makes the app worth a download for anyone that ever needs to give directions or otherwise share locations with their friends. The new version has also added some smaller features, like saving annotated images to your SD card, as well as some bug fixes and usability improvements (particularly when adding text).
