Read Later Brings Instapaper, Read It Later To Your Mac’s Desktop

Mac: Services like Instapaper and Read It Later are great for mobile devices and tablets, but accessing them from their respective web apps just doesn’t give you the same experience. Read Later brings a native, RSS-like reader for your saved articles to the Mac desktop.

If this sounds familiar, it’s because we’ve featured it before — back when it was called ReadNow. The developer pulled it from the App Store, however, and now its back, with a new name and a $0 price tag (previously it was $4.49). Essentially, it gives you a way to browse, search, share and organise your saved articles, as well as tweak the view mode (by changing the font size) for easier reading. If you didn’t get a chance to try it before, now’s the perfect time. It’s just one more way to make reading on your computer a better experience.

Read Later is a free download for Mac OS X only.
