Mixtab Is A Visual RSS Reader For Mac

Mac: You won’t find a shortage of great RSS readers out there, but if you’re looking for a more visual experience to browse your feeds, Mixtab is a reader that puts an emphasis on large thumbnails instead of a minimal reading list.

Instead of a list of stories sycg as you find with Google Reader or our favourite Mac RSS reader, NetNewsWire, Mixtab offers up a series of thumbnails based on the tags in a story or in the site. The app comes with a set of preloaded feeds, but you can also add in your own Google Reader OPML files if you like. You’ll also find a social platform if you like to share your reading list or follow other people’s. If you’re a fan of RSS feeds, but a little sick of reading them in lists, Mixtab is worth a look. It’s a free download in the Mac App Store.
