Freelance design outsource 99designs started in Australia, but these days 32 staff work from its main San Francisco base. Its newly-opened premises have the classic SF warehouse feel: exposed beams and open desks.
The office has been decorated with prints and murals by company staff, which I guess proves you don’t have to outsource every design task. Really, I’m just jealous I didn’t get flown to the opening party to play beer pong.
