Draw Measurements On Clear Food Storage For Fast Measure-Free Cooking

If you’re the type to use a lot of the same ingredients when cooking you might get tired of constantly pulling out the measuring cup every time you cook. DIY blog Nest Full of Eggs share a clever way to repurpose a jar into a makeshift measuring cup by drawing lines on the side.

If you store dried food items in jars or tupperware, measure out a cup (or half), drop the food into the jar and draw a line with a permanent marker. Continue doing this until the jar is full. While Nest Full of Eggs uses this for measurements, it’s also a clever way to keep track of portions if you’re the type to consistently cook too much food.
