Closer integration of Skype with Microsoft products was always one of the expected consequences after Microsoft purchased Skype. That’s slowly coming to fruition, with a beta for Windows Phone 7 devices now available.

Right now, the beta has only been certified on a handful of models, including the just-arriving Lumia 710 and 800 and some older HTC and Samsung models. If you give it a spin (my WP7 handset isn’t supported), share your thoughts in the comments.
