Quickly Display The Inbox In Mail For iPad

If you find it a bit tedious to move your finger all the way up to the top-left corner to get access to your inbox in portrait mode on an iPad then you’ll be happy to hear Mac OS X Hints forum member brianpratt shares a simple gesture to show and hide the inbox.

With your iPad in portrait mode, you can swipe to the right to bring up you inbox, then swipe again to the left to send it away. If you’ve been shying away from using Mail in portrait mode because of the lack of quick access to the inbox, this is simple fix that makes it a lot more enjoyable to use.
