If you’re in the market for a cheap laptop stand, but don’t want to sacrifice your cable management, Instructables user Makedo-able has put together a guide to turn a cardboard box into a tangle-free laptop stand.
We’ve seen our share of DIY laptop stands in the past, but none have integrated a clever cable management system like this before. On top of some clever folding and cutting techniques, the Instructable uses Makedo clips to secure it all together. If you don’t own any Makedo clips and pins, glue should do the trick for the stand itself, and a set of nuts and bolts could be used for the cable management clip on the side.
