Rainmeter 2.2 Adds Bug Fixes, New Plugins

Windows: Rainmeter, our favorite system monitor and desktop customiser for Windows, just released a new version that contains lots of bug fixes and performance improvements, plus localisation support for 35 different languages.

The new version includes improvements to Rainmeter’s “Show Desktop” support (which was annoying in early versions), the NowPlaying plugin (which is now more reliable and supports more players), and the ability to select your language when you install Rainmeter. It also adds a new “Process” plugin, which can tell you whether a certain process is running — great for seeing if certain background applications are running or not (if they don’t appear in your taskbar).

As usual, you can download Rainmeter 2.2, install it over your current version, and it will keep all your customisations for you.
