Dolphin Browser For iOS Gets Gestures For iPad

Popular mobile web browser Dolphin updated to 3.0 today, with a bunch of improvements to its unique “webzine” formatting of popular sites. Notably, for iPad users, there’s a new gesture interface too.

Besides overall performance and stability improvements, the update brings easier adding of new webzine columns on the iPhone and the iPad. On the iPad, the browser’s webzine pages now have a more simplified look and the gesture interface has been updated as well.

  • Dolphin browserHD for Ipad has makes safari look like a bad joke. Only problem i am having is its a bit slow / screen jerks around a lot when scrolling through web pages. Hope they fix this soon as i love this app

  • I wasn’t aware of Dolphin web browser. Am keen to give it a go on my iPad 1 running iOS 5. Safari runs like a horse with no knees (lol @ that thought!) and frequently crashed on me, so it will be interesting to see if Dolphin performs swimmingly 😉
