DIY IKEA Rolling Desk

The $9.99 Lack desk is one of our favourite IKEA bargain buys. This neat hack takes three of ’em and joins them together and adds wheels for a useful rolling desk.

While that may seem like a straightforward task, Kenneth at IKEA Hackers discovered that three Lacks together was a little too tall, and that you can’t just cut into the legs as they’re hollow. He solved that problem by filling the gaps with scrap wood. Hit the post for the full instructions, and check out other IKEA standing desk designs.
