Melbourne Water Android App Tracks Water Levels

Melbourne Water has offered an iOS app for tracking rainfall and dam levels for 18 months. Now Android users can get in on the fun with a similar app.

As well as current information, the app includes a photo from the Thomson ‘dam cam’ which is updated every 10 minutes, and historical data on water storage levels going back to 1940. It’s easy to forget the importance of water storage levels on days when it has been bucketing down rain, so the app is a useful reminder.
