Make A Christmas Present Shake Noise-Maker

Even though shaking presents to determine what’s inside is hardly reliable, people continue to do it. Here’s a DIY way to have your present make any noise you want it to.

Instructables user DIYHacksAndHowTos explains that all you need is a 9V battery, a capacitor, some wire, hot glue and a 9V recording module from an electronics shop and you’re in business. Once you get the box to react to being shaken, the recording module plays back any noise you want, which can include puppy/kitten noises, breaking glass, screams of pain, water sloshing, or even your own voice telling them to cut it out.
