Turn Old Keyboard Keys Into Custom Magnets

If you’ve recently upgraded your keyboard, or you’re like me and have a couple of extras lying around, this DIY hack takes the keys off the top and puts them to good use as strong kitchen magnets that give your fridge a geeky, personal look.Making the magnets is actually quite simple. Just pop the keys off of the keyboard, get a glue gun and affix some magnets to the back of the keys you want to use. You can select specific keys to spell out something you want on the fridge, or you can just use them all and spell out whatever you like. For super-strong magnets, you can use neodymium magnets (or rare earth magnets) that are all but guaranteed to keep your shopping list attached to the front of the fridge, no matter what you do.
