PayPal Debuts Facebook App For Sending Money

PayPal launched a new Facebook app called Send Money, allowing friends to easily exchange currency through the social network. The payment process requires a few steps, and for some reason you also need to send a card with it, but it’s a fully integrated method of sending money to your friends.

While you could always do this through the PayPal website, even if the recipient didn’t have an account, it’s a little easier now that you can just select them from your friends list, specify an amount, and choose a payment source. To check it out, just add the Send Money app on Facebook.
