Lifehacker Seeks A PHP War Machine!


Are you passionate about web development? Do you take pride in writing clean code? We’re looking for an autonomous mid-weight PHP developer to take control of Allure Media’s network of technology sites: Lifehacker, Gizmodo and Kotaku.

As a one person wolf pack, you’ll be provided with general direction, then set loose to optimise and enhance as you see fit.

Daily tasks may range from basic internal tech support to implementing complex new features that enhance our reader’s user experience.

The ideal candidate will have:
• Reasonable PHP experience
• Object Oriented development experience
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS/jQuery
• Keen interest in WordPress
• A logical mindset and keen eye for detail
• Desire to take initiative

This is a full time onsite position. The working environment is focused, the culture is friendly, and you’ll be surrounded by people who are awesome at what they do.
