Lifehacker Awards 2011: Best Mobile Broadband Voting Open

Voting continues in the Lifehacker Awards 2011. Today’s second category: best mobile broadband.

We’ve collated a list of nominees from your suggestions, and you can vote for your favourite below.

Voting will run until Wednesday November 30. You can vote in our best domestic airline, best desktop app, best ADSL/cable ISP and best mobile app polls as well, and we’ll have more categories to vote in throughout the week, so keep checking back in to support your favourites.


  • I was tempted to vote for Vodafone, cause their 850MHz network is very decent for the price, but Telstra just keep raising the bar. Their coverage and speed are unbeatable and their value got much more competitive this year too!

  • Voted for Telstra too. Just switched from Voda, makes me wonder why I didn’t do it years ago. The only problem is Telstras finnicky billing system & the customer service is a little painful.

    • I’ve had nothing but good dealings (three calls & twice in store) with their customer service in the last 18 months. A big difference to a few years ago where I just walked out of various Telstra stores due to very poor customer service.
