How Binder Clips Helped A Remote Control Flying Shark

Over at Gizmodo, Alex has a review and video for a remote control flying shark. I can’t argue that flying sharks do anything for productivity, having wasted the better part of two hours helping him construct it yesterday, but I can reveal that they work better if you use one of Lifehacker’s favourite and most versatile objects: the binder clip.

Specifically, we attached the binder clip to the base of the shark to provide more ballast; the shark itself comes with plasticine for that task, but it didn’t provide quite enough heft, while the binder clip was perfect. Just one more reason to keep a supply of them in your desk. Hit Gizmodo for the full story and the video.
