Chrome: If you’re trying to send someone to a specific passage of a large article, it’s difficult to tell them exactly what you want them to see. Yellow Highlighter is a Chrome extension that lets you highlight text and send a link directly to it.
The nice thing about Yellow Highlighter Pen is that, unlike similar services like Awesome Highlighter, it sits unobtrusively in your toolbar and doesn’t require any external navigation. Simply highlight the text you want to point to, click the Yellow Highlighter Button and you’ll be given a link to share directly or through Facebook and Twitter. You can highlight as many sections as you like and change the highlight colour. Additionally, recipients don’t need the extension installed to view the highlights and it should work across most browsers.
