UniBar For iPhone Searches The Web From The Safari Address Bar

iOS (Jailbroken): UniBar, available in the Cydia app store, is a Safari tweak that allows you to search Google directly from the address bar on your iPhone, instead of using the dedicated search bar.

Unlike browsers that have unified search and URL bars, the stock version of Safari still has separate entry bars for both. Safari UniBar collapses the two into the same bar and removes the space between them. Once installed, the bar will respond to URLs by going to the page requested and search Google if you type in specific search terms. You’ll have to have a jailbroken iOS device to install Safari UniBar, but it’s free and available now in the BigBoss package repository. Have you tried the UniBar, or do you just prefer a different browser on your iOS device? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
