To-Do Manager Astrid Comes To iPhone

iOS: Formerly Android-only to-do manager Astrid unveiled a new iOS app this morning that brings all of the features from the Android app to the iPhone, including reminders and notifications, syncing to the Astrid web app and shared tasks with other Astrid users on iOS and Android.

The iPhone isn’t exactly lacking in to-do apps, something we noticed when we picked our best to-do app for the iPhone, but Astrid for Android is a great app (and was included in our Lifehacker Pack for Android) and one of your favourite to-do managers. Making Astrid cross-platform definitely makes it more appealing than it used to be. If you’re familiar with the Android version, the iPhone version will look familiar. If not, Astrid allows you to track your to-dos and projects, set due dates and deadlines for your items, and be alerted when they’re due. You can organise your tasks into lists and categories, and then sync those tasks with the Astrid web service or Google Tasks.

Like its Android counterpart, Astrid for iPhone is completely free. It’s available now in the iTunes App Store.
