The Clock Petals Home Screen

Reader luisdeliz created this sparse home screen, inspired by Metro UI and some Final Fantasy IX nostalgia.

This home screen doesn’t have a ton of different things going on, like many of the home screens we feature. Instead, its main point of interest is the set of three 2×2 widgets. You can’t buy them anywhere in the Market; luizdeliz made them himself with previously mentioned Make Your Clock Widget. It’s a great example of how powerful that app is, and the kind of things you can create with it. He’s also using GO Launcher EX, which allows him to hide the dock and notification bar with two swipe gestures, giving the screen its super-clean look.
