Repurpose A Trowel Into A Hanger Hook

Looking for an interesting hook to hang multiple or heavy items in your home? Junker blog Mamie Jane shows how Jane repurposed an old rusted trowel into a heavy-duty hanger that looks great in her home by painting it and mounting it to the wall.

Jane uses her trowel hook to hold all her scarves. Since it’s not holding much weight it appears that she mounted it to the wall using a simple adhesive. I’m thinking it might work great to hold backpacks, purses, or coats if the trowels are mounted securely. Depending on the diameter of the handle it might also work as a kickass paper towel holder.
