Repurpose A Desk By Splitting It In Half For Two Bedside Tables

If you’re a frequent discount store or garage sale shopper, you know finding matching furniture is often difficult. Finding old desks, however, is not, which is why Sugar Bee Crafts suggests you cut an old desk in half.

By sawing out the midsection of the desk then routering and sanding the edges, they were able to quickly and easily make two matching night stands. The process is relatively simple provided you have access to a circular saw, router and sand paper. Once complete, you can paint or stain it to match the colour of your room. Check out the full how-to guide over at Sugar Bee Crafts.
